Beginnings: In the Summer of 2020, an experimental virtual shadowing program was created. This pilot was wildly successful and over 1500 pre-medical students were were able to participate.

The Virtual Medical Rounds Program has since gone through a revamp and reorganization to allow for more accessibility to those interested in participating. Our hope is that this new rounding format will help you begin building your clinical reasoning foundation and expose you to the critical thinking required for medical school.

In the VMR program you will take on the role of a 3rd year medical student rounding in the hospital. You will help solve real medical cases and start growing your clinical foundations. No prior experience is required because we will teach you what you need to know to participate.
